So how much does an Oven Gleamers Franchise Cost?

Hello  I'm Graham Rogers, and I'm the founder of OvenGleamers The Oven Cleaning Franchise. So the question for me to answer today:

"How much does an OvenGleamers Franchise Cost?

Here is my answer:

Franchise costs with different types of business models and businesses in the same sector or same industry vary. So the cost of oven cleaning franchises vary. They vary on what package you get with the franchisee fee, the way they deliver the service, and the way they give support for both you and your customers.

But a franchise is an investment. I bought my first franchise when I had spent a lot of time looking at starting up my own business and then ran out of time and money. For me buying a franchise was a way for me to buy a proven model where I could hit the ground running, in short period of time, and build a strong local business without having to worry if I was doing things in the best way.

I know that there are several packages which cost less then ours but most of these use what I would now describe as dangerous practices. That is the use of gas burners to heat stainless steel tank systems. Also systems where these tanks are set up a platform behind the van in the road. A live flame burning on a heating system in the road that is left unattended whilst the oven cleaner works in the home. Or even worse setting this arrangement up in someone's driveway.

Also I know that other oven cleaning franchises  haven't got the same in the level of support that we provide. For example we have call centre staff that take all your calls in the day time, give out quotes and can book your customers in straight away for an oven clean and this appointments shows immediately in  your own diary. Also we also endeavour to take payments in advance. So you run a cashless van.

And another advantage is that our average customer spend for each job is currently £118 (June 2021). So if you get three jobs booked in for a day, the average income for those days will be £354.

Also we have a revenue guarantee of £6000 in the first three months. So in the first three months you don't pay anything for advertising or franchise fees. We run advertising in your local area to get you business. We guarantee that the income from these bookings will be £6000. The idea is that we will will work out what marketing works best in your area to get you customers works the best in your area.

That is to get the best return on investment. Which Google Adverts work, which Facebook adverts work, which local magazine adverts works etc. We advise you on what brings in the best return on your investment for your local OvenGleamers business so you can continue with this marketing and grow your business.

In our system we have always used an electrically heated dip tank. I have improved the design of this over the years and now we have a insulated dip tank with a hinged lid that just needs heating up once a day. it just a case of heating it up in the morning and doesn't need anymore heating up for the rest of the day.

We have also developed our rear working area in the van to get the best professional arrangement for our franchisees.

Also I know that most oven cleaning franchises use a caustic cleaner - or strong Alkaline chemicals -  in the home. This means heating the oven up and using a caustic gel or solution to clean the hot oven. We have always used an eco paste and cleaned the oven cold. This safer for you, the oven cleaner, and also safe for the customer, their children and their pets. Also the life of their cooking appliance isn't shortened by the residue left from using caustic cleaning products, which is easy to leave behind.

There is a skill to cold cleaning ovens in the non caustic way and we have perfected it.

We have been franchising for nearly over ten years now. Our first franchisee started in October 2010. We have learnt from both the successes and mistakes of our franchisees and our successes and mistakes in our own 6 van business in the south west to develop the best oven cleaning business model there is.

The cost of OvenGleamers Franchise is £16995 + VAT. You will also need to arrange finance on a van. There is no deposit on the van. You get a band new Mercedes Citan - International Van Of The Year 2021 - diesel or Electric van that is fully fitted out with our leak free, electrically heated dip tank. and you start paying the monthly payments one month after collecting the van.

And I honestly think we offer a premium package in comparison to our competitors!

We have a very good relationship with the start up loan companies to get top up loans for our new franchisees. These loans are not secured and are at a low interest rate. So your minimum investment needed is £6000 to £8000

There is a Government backed loan scheme to get the rest - it is relatively straight forward to get the loan with the process all set up and in place. If you click through to get our information pack we have a webinar where we talk through the application process. As we have the business plan template set up the loans can be sometimes arranged very quickly - within a few days.
