Extractor Cleaning

By Graham Rogers

Extractor Cleaning.

Often people don’t realise that we also clean extractors.

We clean all sorts and types of extractors with the main ones being ones with a paper filter and those with a metal ‘gauze’ filter.

For the paper filters we take out the old greasy filters, remove all the grease from the holder, and put in a new filter. Our filters are proper professional filters which are better than those you might find in your local shop. They are thick to absorb grease and have a colour code on them that shows when they need replacing as they go red in colour when the filter is saturated in grease.

For gauze filters we take out the filter and again remove all the grease by using our specialist process to remove it all.

As well as cleaning the filters we clean the rest of the extractor too.

For stainless steel extractors we clean all the stainless steel. We use a specialist stainless steel cleaner and will be able to get it cleaner than if your were to use a stainless steel cleaner from a shop such as Lakeland.

Also if your extractor has a tall ‘chimney’ going up to the ceiling we clean all of that too. We get out our ladder and standing on this we use it to get to the highest part of your extractor ensuring we clean all of it.

For extractors with paper we clean the whole of the enclosure too. So if your extractor has a pull out part on the front of your kitchen cabinets we will clean that too.
