Apparently the AGA cooker produces up to 1.5 tonnes of CO2 to make each one. It uses 4.5 to 6.5 tonnes of CO2 per year when it is running which is equivalent to the amount of CO2 that the average house produces in a year. So by having an AGA cooker in your house you are infact doubling its CO2 production. I think this applies to all AGA cookers that are left on continuously, as most people do. This is something to think about isn't it??
