About OvenGleamers
OvenGleamers started in Taunton on the 19th of April 2004 with Graham Rogers as one man in a van operator cleaning three ovens. The company was called OvenGleam and changed its name to OvenGleamers in 2010. We are still referred to as OvenGleam though.
Now in 2024 we have national network of OvenGleamers franchisees and still a large 7 van fleet operation operating out of the Bristol office where Graham is now located. We are expanding our operation by getting new franchisees.
We are different in that OvenGleamers use an eco cleaning process in the home - safe for children and pets - unlike most of our competitors, and do a full strip down deep clean.
Also we make it easy to book with us with a call centre to take your call and book you in.
Graham before starting OvenGleam had previously served in the Royal Air Force for 13 years and been a freelance computer consultant for 7 years.
He started the business as he wanted to start a business that expertly cleaned AGA Cookers and other large range cookers.

Graham meets Catherine
One month after starting the business Graham met Catherine.
In May 2004 Graham meets his wife Catherine. Catherine is serving as a navigator in the Royal Air Force training navigators new to the Hercules aircraft at RAF Lyneham.
Graham builds the foundations of the OvenGleamers service helped by his wife who heads up a customer orientated approach.
Together they have developed the business and expanded because of this approach achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

By 2007 OvenGleamers consisted of Graham and four employees out cleaning ovens.
Graham and Catherine's efforts really accelerate the growth of the business. Graham concentrates on online marketing. Catherine on local magazine marketing, taking calls and making the appointments.
First Franchisee Simon Green Bracknell
In 2010 OvenGleamers new franchisee starts
Simon Green is OvenGleamers first franchisee in Bracknell in Berkshire.
Now in 2022 OvenGleamers are now both local and national. Having first establishing itself as the South West's and South Wales' leading Range cooker and AGA Cleaning Company OvenGleamers have now expanded their business nationally by franchising.
OvenGleamers is growing at its fastest rate ever. In 2021 OvenGleamers doubled the number of OvenGleamers franchise partners in the UK. OvenGleamers now cover 45 franchise areas.
OvenGleamers are Corporate Members of British Institute of Cleaning Science and Members of Trading Standards Approved Buy With Confidence Scheme.
OvenGleamers are experts at cleaning the larger range cookers and AGA and AGA type cookers and they provide oven cleaning services to homes, small individual businesses, landlords, and sports clubs throughout the UK.
OvenGleamers constantly aim to provide exceptional levels of customer service by having: a fast-response customer service team, and local franchise partners. The lofty standards which the company was founded on are achieved, and maintained, by the thorough training of our staff and franchise partners. The fast, through and safe cleaning methods we use - with only Eco products used in the home - help us to achieve the standards that our customers have come to expect.
OvenGleamers has got to where it is today by establishing standards of excellence and by placing the customer at the heart of everything it does. This is the core of the business for many years to come.

OvenGleamers Full Timeline:
April 2004
Graham Rogers started OvenGleam.com as a one man in a van in Taunton Somerset. His aim was to target the AGA Market of Devon, as well as cleaning ovens in Somerset and Dorset. OvenGleam joined the British Institute of Cleaning Science as Corporate Members.
May 2004
Graham meets his wife to be Catherine. She is in the Royal Air Force at Lyneham, in Wiltshire.
Nov 2004
Marketing is expanded to cover Wiltshire.
Nov 2005
Graham trains OvenGleam's frist employee.
Dec 2005
First Employee covers the Christmas period whilst Graham is away.
Jan 2006
New OvenGleam van arrives, taking the total of vans to 2. Graham and one employee in another van are now out cleaning.
May 2006
First Employee leaves and replaced by new one.
September 2006
With Catherine leaving the RAF, OvenGleam moves office to Clevedon in North Somerset. We operate the business from our front room. Jayne Hardy joins us to help with calls and administration.
October 2006
Two new vans added to fleet to make 4 vans. Two new employees employed to operate them.
March 2007
Another van acquired. New employee to operate this van taken on.
October 2007
Move to new premises in Pill North Somerset - our first proper office separate from our home, with Jayne, Catherine and Graham in the office.
October 2007 to October 2010
We run train course for people wishing to start their businesses as independents.
october 2010
First Pilot franchisee starts - OvenGleamers Bracknell - Simon Green.
August 2011
August 2011: Second franchisee starts.
October 2011 onwards
New franchisees starting. Change of name to OvenGleamers our trademarked name for national operation. Though we are still referred to as OvenGleam by many people.
Septermber 2012
OvenGleamers joins the British Franchise Association as Associate Members.
February 2013
OvenGleamers changes it's value proposition and buys it's first Mercedes Citan vans. All new vans are now Citan vans for both Head Office and new franchisees.
August 2013
OvenGleamers move to new larger office premises just across the road from our old premises in Pill North Somerset.
July 2015
Increase in office staff in office to 5 with new employees Samantha and Nicola.
July 2016
Nicola leaves the office staff.
March 2017
Sandra joins the office staff.

Samantha leaves to have a baby.

Fiona joins the office staff

Nicola Rickford joins as Franchisee Development manager.

Tracey joins as Catherine's Personal Assistant. Nicola leaves.

Complete new management and call team formed for the office. With Jill, Oliver and Sarah as the bookings team in addition to Catherine and Graham.
